Yes, it is that time again. The 2010 season is fast approaching and that means winter nets are kicking off. While most of the youth were playing in the indoor league, the winter nets gives players the chance to work on more technical areas and get used to the hard ball again. The sessions will take place in St.Marys School Sports Hall, Rathmines. The following is a breakdown of the schedule..

The Gladiators remain on top of the league tonight after securing a win over the Daredevils. The opening 2 pairs (Amy & Brian) ( Will & Jonsey) both scoring 64.
Tally, Aoife Livingston and Danny Hogan were all on hatrick balls tonight. Rob Kenealy taking some great catches along with the highlight of the night from Jack Mullen with an amazing diving catch.
The final game (Spitfires v Daredevils) came down to the last ball. Mark and John required 51 off 4 overs and only getting 16 off 2. The pair held their nerve and scored 23 off the 3rd over. Rob O’Connor bowling the last over and John hitting him for 1 off the last ball.
Next week will be 2 x Semis and 1 x Final. The team currently in 5th place will not participate in the final week but are encouraged to come down to support and be available to sub in if needed.

There will be no indoor cricket this Tuesday 5th January. We will start back after our Xmas break on TUESDAY 12th JANUARY.
There are 3 weeks remaining and the table topper will win the 2009/2010 title.
